Our Health Promise to You
At Miami French Bulldogs, our commitment to health begins before a litter is born. Our adult breeding dogs are DNA health tested, and every puppy receives veterinary care, an age-appropriate health evaluation, and a Florida health certificate before going home. Our puppies are also supported by a written 1-year congenital and hereditary health guarantee and ongoing breeder support.
🐾 Health Checked Before Going Home
Before leaving our care, every puppy receives a veterinary health examination and Florida health certificate. The veterinarian performs a physical evaluation that includes the heart, patellas and knees, nares and airway, visible soft palate, hernias, and overall condition. Puppies also leave with their current vaccination and health records.
🐾 Health-Tested Parents
Every adult dog in our breeding program is DNA health tested through Animal Genetics using the French Bulldog 6-panel health test. The panel includes CMR1, DM, HUU, JHC, CY3-Variant 2, and CY3-Variant 3. We use these results as part of our breeding decisions to make informed pairings with the health and future of each litter in mind.
🐾 1-Year Congenital & Hereditary Health Guarantee
Every puppy is covered by our written 1-year congenital and hereditary health guarantee for qualifying diagnosed congenital or hereditary disorders that materially and adversely affect the puppy’s health or are fatal or life-altering, subject to the terms of our written agreement. We stand behind the puppies we place and provide each family with clear documentation of that commitment.
🐾 Vet Visit Required Within 72 Hours
To maintain the terms of our written health guarantee, your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arriving home. This visit gives your veterinarian an opportunity to establish care, review your puppy’s records, and evaluate your puppy after the transition into their new home.
🐾 Vaccine Protocol
Every puppy leaves our care with age-appropriate vaccinations and a complete record of the veterinary care they have received. We follow our veterinarian’s recommended puppy protocol and provide each family with clear guidance on the vaccines and boosters their puppy may still need based on age, lifestyle, and their veterinarian’s recommendations.
